HOW TO FIND US
GETTING HERE IS EASY!
THE SANDCASTLE, SANDY LANE, FRESHWATER EAST BEACH, NEAR LAMPHEY, PEMBROKESHIRE, WALES SA71 5LN
THE SANDCASTLE is a stunning resort house just a few steps from a beautiful sandy beach and with access straight onto the breathtakingly beautiful 250km Pembrokeshire coastal path. And the best bit? As it is only 4 hours down the M4 from London, it is easily a couple of hours closer to London than Cornwall. Pembrokeshire is the new West Country. THE SANDCASTLE is an easy 25-minute drive once you leave the M4 and the fast dual carriageways of the A48 and A40. It is under 2 hours from Cardiff Airport (flights to Venice, Paris, and more) and the airfield is in HaverfordWest which operates chartered services. It is also 5 minutes from Lamphey Train Station with regular trains to Paddington. And the ferries to Ireland from Pembroke Dock are only a 10-15 minute drive. Our closest towns are Lamphey, Pembroke and Tenby.
DIRECTIONS FROM LAMPHEY (2.0 miles / 5 minutes)
Take the FRESHWATER EAST ROAD B4584 until you get to the village. When at the top of Trewent Hill, you will see the signposting for BEACH. Turn right and follow the road all the way down to the bottom. It will curve to the right and go over a little humpback bridge. You will have The Longhouse on your right, along with the Holiday Village. On your left, there is a dirt road (Sandy Lane), take this and follow it to THE SANDCASTLE, which is the 3rd and last house, behind the planted wall, next to the public slipway.
