AMENITIES AT THE SANDCASTLE

THE SANDCASTLE is primarily a luxury holiday home, but we are happy to host corporate retreats as our RECREATION AND EVENTS ROOM can seat 40 or more people. We can arrange local catering and Welsh Wine evenings. We will soon have a large-screen cinema and presentation facilities. There can be no better place to get out of the office and recharge your team.  We are also available to accommodate film crews, having worked in the industry and also having had our previous home in the Chilterns used as a filming location. 

YEAR-ROUND, SALT-WATER INFINITY POOL

With all there is to do around Freshwater East, you may not find time to lounge about the pool! But if you do, we have guaranteed that it will always be ready and waiting for you at a temperature-controlled minimum of 25 degrees all year!. The pool is accessible from inside the house during the winter months and when the sun is blazing, the remote-controlled pool enclosure retracts beneath the patio and it operates as a stunning infinity-pool.

RECREATION AND EVENTS ROOM

The recreation room looks out over the infinity pool and sea, and has extra dining space, a snooker table, table tennis, and houses the family's fish tank. This large space can also be altered to accommodate a wedding dining room, a conference room,  a yoga / exercise space ... or any sort of event, really.

STEAM ROOM

Enjoy the steam room after a long-hard day of coast walking, shopping and swimming! 

COMING IN 2019 ...

6-METRE RIB AND SKIPPER

We can provide you with our 6-metre RIB and our trusty skipper on hand to take you fishing and on picnicking trips. There are two landlocked beaches to the right and left of Freshwater East Bay (Swanlake and Barafundle). A private boat is the only way to explore these hidden jewels. 

ON-SITE MASSAGE THERAPY

Whilst the others are out on the RIB, or fishing, or foraging ... why don't you pour yourself a glass of wine, play some relaxing music, and call in the masseuese? 

BEACH EQUIPMENT

And of course, we will provide the obvious: wet suits, boogie boards, paddle and surf boards. We also have a Boules pitch and a small putting green.

PRIVATE CHEF

As well as offering the option of having a chef arrive to make your breakfast in the morning (eggs Benedict, kedgeree, kippers and bacon or a full Welsh), we can also arrange to have a chef arrive to prepare and serve your dinner. We have a small, select menu using only local produce.

ENTERPRISE SAILING DINGHY

We are happy to provide the use of our little sailing boat to those guests with prior sailing experience. And as with all of our equipment hire, there are (reasonable) Terms & Conditions regarding safety, insurance and equipemt conditon.
